ABOUT US

The OEPS Football Team was formed in 2011 and has since grown from strength to strength. With a talented group of pupils, we have performed well in many competitions year after year, each time putting up a strong challenge. In 2012, OEPS Football grew to include a development team that allowed for more boys to join in the training to learn basic football skills. The development team was also used as a platform to promote players who have shown great improvement. Every year, we successfully promote a handful of players to join the school team.

In 2024, Football Girls was introduced due to the popularity of the CCA. It is an exciting and inclusive co-curricular activity aimed at fostering teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness among female students. The program provides a platform for girls to learn and excel in the sport of football, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Experienced coaches guide participants through skill development, tactical strategies, and match scenarios, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the game. The initiative not only encourages athletic prowess but also emphasizes sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants. Through regular training sessions and friendly matches, Football Girls aims to empower young women, instilling confidence and a passion for sports within a supportive and engaging environment.

OUR OBJECTIVES

To provide an avenue for pupils to display sportsmanship behaviour as competitors and non-competitors.

To teach our pupils greater understanding of the game of football by refining their skills and enhancing their tactical understanding of the sport.
